My name is Brittany Jacobs and I am currently a Junior at North Central University. I am pursuing a certificate for children's
illustration at the Minnesota College of Art and Design starting in the fall of 2008.
I am currently looking for a job opportunity in the area of children and family ministry. I have creative ideas for ministry
amongst children that will in turn flow to the rest of the family unit. Outreach, discipleship, evangelism and missions are
all a part of what I will build my ministry around. I look forward to working with a team of people who will collaborate to
enhance the Kingdom of God.
I have worked in a children's church environment since the summer of 2003. I started off in children's ministry doing
crusades across the Midwest with the Merry Heart Clowns, a traveling children's evangelism team. From there I transitioned
into the traditional children's church setting. In the summer of 2004 I went on my first mission trip to the "projects"
of L.A. Since then I have expanded my cross-cultural skills by taking three trips to Africa as a children's missionary, the
longest term being three months.
